Dr. Adam Wilson Brazus was born in Cleveland, Ohio and became a Hoosier upon moving to Carmel where he grew up with his mother, father and brother. He attended Wabash College, and Medical School at Indiana University. Dr. Brazus has been practicing Ophthalmology at St. Vincent of Indianapolis, IN since January of 2000. Dr. Brazus is proficient in various laser and surgical treatments of the eye. Throughout his practice he has perfected newer techniques such as advanced, no-stitch/no-patch cataract surgery and laser vision correction or LASIK. He loves his work and prides himself on his traditional, compassionate medical care and success in surgically improving the sight and welfare of his patients. Dr. Brazus is currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent Hospital and Treasurer of the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology. He continues to teach surgery as volunteer faculty at Indiana University Medical Center.
