In High School he was a captain of the junior varsity soccer team and soloist with the swing choir, The Ambassadors. After graduating from Carmel as one of the valedictorians , he attended Wabash College where he was active in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and the Wabash College Glee Club, becoming president of both organizations his junior year. After internship at Methodist Hospital, he returned to the Indiana University Medical Center to complete his training in ophthalmology. Friendships made there led to his beginning his ophthalmology practice in Anderson, where he has worked for the last three and a half years. Adam met his wife, Stephanie, in
medical school. They were
married in November of 1993. Stephanie
Ann Brazus, M.D. is currently an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at St.
Vincent Hospital and soon will join the Noblesville Obstetrics and
Gynecology Group. They enjoy
golf, traveling and the theater and currently live in Broad Ripple with
their dogs, "Winnie" and “Roo”. Both are avid Colts and Pacers fans.
In his spare time, Dr. Brazus works on his computer and plays the
guitar and piano. In his training, Dr. Brazus
became proficient in various laser and surgical treatments of the eye.
Throughout his practice he has perfected newer techniques such as
advanced, no-stitch/no-patch cataract surgery and laser vision correction
or LASIK. He loves his work
and prides himself on his traditional, compassionate medical care. Looking
forward to seeing you…
a personal message from Dr. Brazus
It is very obvious to me that Dr. McCallum has treated each of his patients with great personal care, skill, and genuine concern for their well-being. I certainly will do my very best to continue that excellent tradition. Dr. McCallum has selected and trained an excellent staff to service your needs. You will continue to see the smiling faces of these very talented people when you return for your next examination. Also note that we are now able to offer several surgical procedures that were not previously available. We welcome new patients and very much appreciate your referrals. I look forward to meeting you and consider it a privilege to be your eye health care physician and surgeon. -- Adam W. Brazus, M.D.
